hard working ability to Evelyn Haney.  May this gift be of great help to Evelyn.
How the list lengthens.  Last but by all means not least, comes Senior priviledges.  Too well understood to be detailed, Senior dignity is always handed over to the new made Lords of the school.  We are afraid that this will be a strain on the gay and debonair Juniors, but all hope they will arise to the occasion.
Besides these enforced gifts, we leave not of necessity, but of our own free-will, our blessing and pledge of friendship forever.
To the faculty we give whatever memories they may wish to keep of us.  Also if they see fit they may use the startling information we have given them in quizzes and examinations.  This latter matter is, however, entirely at their discretion.
And we do hereby constitute and appoint the said faculty sole executors of this, our last will ans testament, and request that they be exempt from furnishing and surety on their bonds as such executors.
In testimony whereof we, the said class of '36, set our hands as a class in the presence of witnesses, declaring this to be our last will, this 17th day of April, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six.

JOKES AND STUFF

Joe Frank: "Could I have a date tonight?"
Frances B: "Yes, if you could find anyone dumb enough to date with you."
Joe Frank: "Well, I'll be around to see you about 8 o'clock then."

Miss Thomas: "Give me a sentence with the word "vermin."
   A. J.: "Before I go fishin', I go vermin."
* * *
Margie Bell: "Think up some way to cure the itch and your fortune will be made."
   Mary Waltman: "I have it."
   Margie Bell: "The cure?"
   Mary: "No, the itch."

Mr. Hanna: "Bane, give me a sentence using the pronoun I."
   Bane: "I is--"
Mr. Hanna: "Not 'I is,' you should say, 'I am'."
Bane: "All right, I am the ninth letter of the alphabet."

PROPHECY OF THE SENIORS OF 1936
(Concluded from Page 5)

Our future physician of Laneville steps forth in the person of none other than Joe Frank Bryan.
Then for some hidden reason Leroy Beddingfield announces his intention of being a first-rate undertaker.
Last, but not least, we find our old friend Gilford Vaughn, taking up the task of being our foreign missionary to Ethiopia.
We hope you realize of what great importance it is to our country that you fill these assigned professions.  May success be with you.
